Imagine if doctors had such indecipherable handwriting, it could only be read by pharmacists

Most doctors have such indecipherable handwriting that pharmacists can't read it.
Years ago, my Aunt took a prescription (written by my father) to the pharmacy and was told that her doctor's name was DeWitt....our last name isn't even close to DeWitt. He also didn't believe her as far as what the medication was. She had to have the pharmacist call him in order to get the prescription filled.
This is probably why doctors began having their names printed at the top of the prescription forms....they still can't figure out the medication all the time.
