Anyone take Acetyl L Carnitine?

I've asked before but my sister still can't get a valid answer if it lowers sugar or not. She's very insulin sensitive so she's still waiting to try this. She's heard it does help neuropathy though. Any tips on this supplement welcome. Especially on effect onblood sugar ..

Does she have a "regular" provider she sees? Or is it more of a walk-in clinic where you take a number, 🪲🧃 style? TBH, she should be seeing a primary care provider when managing her blood sugar issues, then a specialist if need be.
