Yes, all of it. The antidepressants stopped me from being completely out of control. The acid meds allow me to eat and sleep at night. The anti nausea meds help me to not feel sick all the time. The anti inflammatory meds stop me from being ill. The proof is that without these meds I'm fucked. Tried and tested. I'd probably be anorexic, in pain and in jail.

@Notsimilarreally I can understand people being skeptical about the motivations of pharmaceutical companies and about being dependent on medication, but for some of us there really aren't better options. No amount of eating kale or acupuncture or hopi ear candles are gonna fix my shit.

I don't know that it makes me [i]better.[/i] I can use some medications to help me [i]feel[/i] better, temporarily. And I take some for that when needed. Valium, Klonopin, Vicodin, Tylenol. (Not all at the same time.)

@Notsimilarreally Any medication that helps with pain or anxiety, is just a suppressant. It masks or alleviates symptoms. So, it really doesn't make me better. It makes me [i]feel[/i] better, but I still have the underlying condition.

I took Lexapro for a period of time, a couple times in my life. It helped give me a bit of a boost to get myself up and out of the hole. Once I felt ready/steady, I weaned myself off of it

No. Unfortunately meds don't work very well for me. Weed helps me but I know that's not for everyone.

I'm allergic to most antibiotics and usually need smaller doses.

Some have been helpful some have not. Wellbutrin, Trintillex, and Ritalin seem to work for me. Benzos work but cause more problems than they solve.
