I don't like to see horses get whipped so they go faster.

It's actually not the least bit necessary for jockeys to whip their horses.
If the horses are fit and not in pain they will naturally strive to run their fastest.
I believe there are already campaigns to ban the use of whips. I'm sure you could find and join one online.
