I used to believe lipstick was made from shark cartilage 💄🦈

When I was younger, some kid told me lipstick was made from sharks, lol. Some lipsticks actually are made from shark liver oil (squalene), but I assumed it was the cartilage of the shark and that's how lipsticks has its rubbery yet thick texture. Really grossed me out from using it for a long time, just imagining rubbing shark parts on my lips. 😆
