What do you think about celebrities embracing the "no makeup trend?"

Recently Pamela Anderson made a bold statement by attending Paris Fashion Week with no makeup. Years ago Alicia Keys stopped wearing makeup. For the women here who are used to wearing makeup, do you ever just go without it in public? How does it make you feel? Do you feel "free" or self conscious?
And for the men- what do you think about this trend of women forgoing makeup, even if they don't look nearly as attractive? Are you attracted to women without makeup, or do you prefer them all glammed up, even if it takes them hours to get ready?
Does anyone think the makeup free trend will get the point where it's unstylish to wear makeup?
My whole life I have worn tons of makeup- mainly to cover scars, pale eyelashes and eyebrows, wrinkles, etc. But the older I get, the less makeup I wear- now I just wear a little eyebrow pencil and some very natural fake eyelashes. I would love to have the confidence to go completely without makeup, but not there yet.

Put the make-up back on.

@Nitedoc Pamela you mean, or women in general?

@Mardrae Pam. She looks kind of plain without make-up. Of course I mean from her neck up.

@Nitedoc she does, but I can only imagine how freeing it must be for her to not wear it. Imagine how her life must have been- to only be known as a sex object and having to constantly keep up that image. It must be exhausting for her. And what I noticed from the article was how she was dressed too- very baggy, conservative clothing. It was almost like she didn't want to be recognized, or she just wanted to remake herself into a more mature older woman instead of a glamorous sex object. Remember a few years back when she went back to her natural hair color and cut her hair in a pixie? I think this is something she's been wanting to do for years.
