What sort of gifts of love are actually meaningful as being true/proper romantic gestures to women?

I automatically discount things that demonstrate wealth such as expensive jewellery, etc. as wealth is such a shallow measure of 'attraction'. I've never given a woman expensive jewellery and/or never proposed or got engaged or married.

To me, giving flowers, something yummy (esp if it's shareable), or some other simple item or 'thing' like some nice ear rings (if the women wears ear adornments). That's proper romantic gifting in my eyes.

I can only speak for myself here, but meaningful gifts are simple things like time, thoughtfulness, etc etc.

How someone makes me feel emotionally and mentally is way more important than what they can do for me materialistically and physically.
I'll always choose love, affection, and emotional support over being showered with gifts. All I want is my energy reciprocated.
