To defend someone I love, yes, in a very extreme situation.

Love of families, comrades and friends if under non negotiable threat then of course..

No? Thats the opposite of love. If you belive someone will love you if you complete a task for them you never be more than a slave to them.

If my true love was in danger - Yes

I wouldn't kill for any reason besides self defence and even then I'd try to avoid it.
