Such a touching moment

I have not been in a Target since last year so decided to make a very needed Target run.. After shopping for a few items I went into a checkout line..there was a mom in front of me with her maybe 8 month old baby in a stroller. The baby was facing me and just staring at me for a minute or two. Just adorable round blue eyes. 🥹

They finally cracked the smallest smile as I kept smiling at them and waving. Then the baby lifted its tiny hand in the air toward me, it looked like they were about to wave!! But then they put their hand back down after three seconds or so. But I wonder if they were trying to wave, because I had waved at them..
It was so touching, it made me think about getting back into child care. Where everyday was filled with curiosity and wonder. This little munchkin, just were the most precious thing .💕
