Love is stupid.

Tbh there are a lot of people out there in the world.
We sometimes like to believe that we are in the best place to find that person but sometimes some of us do have to go a little further a field to cast our nets.
Are you happy where you currently are in life?
Good job?
Good support friends?
Close family?
Good home and area?
If any of these are out of whack, have you considered what you could do to improve those?

I'm not saying that this will solve your situation but it might be a healthier distraction.

I find matters of the heart personally really distressing and it kind of overwhelms me.

Be open, and cast your net a little...
You will get a nibble!

@Mellowgirl doesn’t mean everyone is meant to be loved
Sometimes you find them when and where you least expect, and after you've stopped actively looking. It's a bizarre quirk of the universe. Let them come to you.

Not unlike searching for a missing item. After tearing the house apart for your car keys or glasses, you sit on the sofa in defeat, looking up to see them on top of the fridge. Or it's that inane notion to check the unlikeliest of places, then voila!

@SethGreene531 idk man women are crazy
@SW-User No doubt, just like men there are some that can be cruel, and inscrutable. Your heart can wind up in the blender. Love can be cold and unforgiving at times, esp. if you're dating someone who sees you as a quick means to an end, and not the person inside.

Give yourself a good break from dating, immerse yourself in something else.
Later, adjust your dating venues perhaps, maybe redefine what you want from a partner. Choosing to wait longer for someone with the same values. You just might find a diamond and not a dud. She surely will.

True love happens when you’re not looking for it.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@Wallflow3r This.
SW-User
@Wallflow3r no I’m a lost cause
Wallflow3r · 26-30, F
@SW-User I doubt that! I believe you will find someone, one day!💘
Persabul · 31-35, M
In my my experience there is no true love or relationships that just work. You have to find someone that is willing to work toward a goal even when its hard and they don't want too. It takes both partys to put in effort. In the disposable society we live in its rare to finde one person with these qualities but you both have to have them as one party can only carry the relationship so far.

I don't believe in soulmates.
SW-User
@SW-User agreed
Yeah I'd say so. Things are harder to find when you're looking for it. Plus I don't really think soul mates are entirely a thing. It's all about making something work

Never give up because there's someone for everybody, it just takes time to find them.
SW-User
@VirginMatchmaker I think “someone for everyone” is a myth
VirginMatchmaker · 46-50, M
@SW-User it's definitely not. We're all meant to be with someone because the world isn't really made for single people. Something I've noticed in the past and notice now.
Maybe people look in the wrong the places or dismiss some people way too easily when actually they shouldn't.
I have a type but I've never ever been with it because I'm open about what the options are.

Soul mates are a myth. Continue to search if you choose. Or don't. It's your choice.
SW-User
@LadyBronte thanks

Soulmate does not exist. There are always exceptions of course but relationships are hard work. Just like life in general, happiness isn't something you feel every day of the year but you live and enjoy the few breaks in between. Unless you're one of the lucky people where all things just fall in place, life is usually something you make work, meaning effort. Relationships require the effort and sacrifice of two parties.
Havesomefun2 · 56-60, M
For someone there is anyone it’s finding them that’s the problem
SW-User
There are more than one soul mate...when it's right ...you will know ...it's a big world with a lot of people in it ...you will find the person who is right for you
SW-User
@SW-User I am very doubtful I’m a lost cause
MagicaloneANRABF · 56-60, M
When the term babymomma stops being used you might have a chance. And also good to just have children with your soul mate....not two or three or more babymommas.
SW-User
@MagicaloneANRABF 😂 I’m nowhere near having kids my friend
You’re still young. Think positive and let yourself be seen for who you are😊

I don’t believe there is just one person you are meant to be with. I think there are a few out there.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@SW-User I don’t think monogamy is fit everyone either
SW-User
@iamonfire696 being honest isn’t for everyone 😂
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON your words verbatim “if you have zero love you’re a sociopath or a psychopath” that is an assumption and a very odd one at that
