Gotta ask your opinion...

I'm watching "Love after Lockup". There's a really pretty woman with some prisoner dude in this season, and I can't understand why yet. *Haven't exactly been paying attention this season*. However, why would this beautiful woman want to be with this ugly felon who was just released from prison and cheats on her?

She's very pretty (he isn't) which is different from the previous seasons I've watched.

The cynic in me says that it got her on TV and that's really important to some people. The romantic in me says, everyone deserves a second chance so I'm happy for them. But the true me rolls my eyes and says whatever before changing the channel.

She likes him for the very reasons you listed. Women, especially beautiful women, are not angels. Women are attracted to men that are capable of violence because it makes them feel protected. Of course they never expect that same violence to be directed at them. Cheating also shows that the man they picked is not a loser and that other women want what she has. I think it's called preselection in the dating world (I can't recall I'll have to look it up again) but basically it means women don't want losers that no one else wouldn't want to date or lay with. These are general rules inb4 [i]not all women [/i].

Idk but I think girls who call other girls pretty are kinda weird makes me think all women are bisexual I don't hear guys go around saying that guy is so good looking etc.

@scrood It definitely happens. My dad has no problem calling another man handsome, if it's appropriate. My boyfriends have known the difference between a handsome man or not. Professionals know the difference. Everyone does. It doesn't mean you're attracted to the same sex, if you can see what's normally recognized as beautiful or attractive in today's society. Anyone with intelligence can do so. It doesn't mean you have to find them attractive yourself, but you can understand what society finds attractive.

My boyfriend is bald and overweight right now. I'm very attracted to him. Don't take offense, if someone says someone else is attractive, even their own gender. It's what society deems attractive.

I'm a redhead. It took [i]a very long time[/i] before society viewed us as attractive, and some white girls still don't see us as equals.

Who cares if I say another woman is pretty? Isn't it better that I see her beauty than her flaws? This girl isn't even my race... it's a good thing I can see her beauty. My question is why is she dealing with this A-hole straight out of prison who treats her like garbage.

I'm sure there's plenty of reasons, but I wanted someone else's opinion.
