to take a little pleasure,
in seeing the one who didn’t love you,
married to one who doesn’t love him?

Sometimes I feel that way. I try to overcome that part of me, but I do have a mean streak sometimes.

It’s been many years. I’ve moved on, married a fantastic man, who loves me better than he ever did.
It shouldn’t matter anymore, but to a small piece of my heart... it still does.
