What should I do? I never experienced this before.. Is it appropriate?

I have a strong attraction to my private tutor who is a bit younger than me... She's giving me a lot of signals that she's into me. She doesn't mind me taking her out on a date and has been sending private messages about her daily life. I am still her student - still have about 3 months to go with my course. She's an excellent teacher though.

If it does not work out she could give you more homework!

@Tinkerxbell

Well, good luck.

But she should at least be more professional and know dating a student is a no-no.

(And perhaps you should know, too?)

Oh well, you only live once.

@JoyfulSilence Thank you - that's the reason why I am dilemma right now. It never happened to me before.

@Tinkerxbell

I have been on the flip side. In high school and college I had crushes on a few teachers. I was a star pupil and loved the attention. And young and depressed and hormone-fueled.

Now I have little interest in any of that. My body is quiet and my mind content. Most people anny me, too! I just want to retire and relax. No drama.

Give her a spanking.

I’ll say hold on to until you are done with the course and then go for it. That way it would be easy.

Thats not a good idea
Tinkerxbell · 36-40, F
@lissah I know.. she is my private tutor.
lissah · 36-40, F
@Tinkerxbell my bf is a teacher. He would never even think about being involved with one of his students in a million years.
GoFish ·
eh you sure she isn't just being friendly?
Tinkerxbell · 36-40, F
@GoFish Her body language is so intense every time she looks at me with her captivating smile- and we even talked about going on a date soon and having a holiday together next year.

Got to keep it professional or break off the professional relationship and start a separate personal relationship. Just get another teacher

Definitely seems like there's room for pleasure outside of business.

It's already happened. Since she is your private tutor, there is no academic fraud. You pay her to teach you. Her professionalism though is out the window as is her integrity. She has none. Be ware.

At 35, if you have strong feelings for another and they for you… and they’re not married, you’re crazy not to act on it. How many more times will it happen - you just never know.
BillyMack · 46-50, M
@Softandsweet2 she said it was her teacher so I thought it was like a college or something. But now it’s a private tutor so it’s I who missed.
Softandsweet2 · 36-40, F
@BillyMack Doesn't matter who it is when you're 35… college, tutor, dance instructor - your clock is running - grab it while you can.
Tinkerxbell · 36-40, F
@Softandsweet2 Ok you're right - Thank you for your moral support. *hugs*
BillyMack · 46-50, M
That’s a power dynamic that’s not healthy or helpful for either of you.

If it’s that important, wait the three months.
Tinkerxbell · 36-40, F
@BillyMack She is my private tutor.
BillyMack · 46-50, M
@Tinkerxbell can’t help you there then. Just do you
Tinkerxbell · 36-40, F
@BillyMack Thank you.. I appreciate your input. I am just in dilemma right now as I really wanna excel in my language course.
Manipulative people can be like this. She knows if she isn't on your good side you might end the lessons.
You will know the truth once the lessons end. See if she dumps you like a hot potato.
emmasfriend · 46-50, F
It seems to me that you have already passed the point of no return.
Keep it low key until the tutoring period ends. It isn't that far away,
