Aww thanks y'all.
Madgirl, they are really pig skin. They puff up they way they do because of how they are sliced and deep fried in VERY hot oil, twice. Now before you say gross they are low carb, high protein, and gluten free, plus if you eat sausage the unpopped find is in there to add texture and taste to the sausage. They just grind it up more. They sometimes call the unpopped crackling and in Europe they call them scratchlings.
Icarus, after all that ice cream I have to cut back somewhere plus I prefer diet sodas if I drink them because their regular counterparts are too sweet.
This, I love being reasonable.
