Ruptured My Left Arm Vein While Donating Plasma

Thankfully they noticed early on and applied ice to it to prevent further damage. I used my right arm for donating the remaining 90% of the plasma. I was told it'll heal in a few days to a week, and not much to worry about. Also I was reminded to be more hydrated, and now I regret adding about a teaspoon of salt to 500ml bottled water.

Good thing you're alright though

@caPnAhab things can happen, yes, but donations are vital, think of the lives you could be saving.

@samueltyler2 i get paid for it so it's like a part time job for me

@uikakarotuevegeta gotcha, but they should do a better job if you ended up with a nig hematoma.

@samueltyler2 For sure. It's not off the table but have to be extra careful.

@uikakarotuevegeta Do they pay out a consistent amount each time?

@caPnAhab depends on how much you donate, which they determine based on the medical tests they do, but early on as a newer donor I earn more
