Why wouĺd someone hug me when they dont like me?

Some are so emotionally hungry they'd hug anyone, don't ask me how I know this

Some people are just huggers. lol.

To act like they're OK with you, that the problem is you.

Social etiquette of some says to treat everyone the same, so if person was hugging others, they would hug you too.

Or if that's what they would do with others, then just go on autopilot and do it with you too.
