My coworker made a mistake at work the other week. They were blaming her and I could tell she was upset so I gave her a hug. She's been very appreciative and we've developed a much stronger bond ever since. As simple as that :>

You are so sweet and supportive of others around you! I can imagine how awful your coworker felt, and that hug, at that moment, let her know she is not alone.
