Why ban only the nazi salute? ALL saluting in military and armed forces should be blackbanned

Banning the so-called 'nazi salute' is a bullshit move to appeal the woke brigade. All saluting should be banned including in all military and other armed forces.

In volunteer emergency services there's no such thing as there's no such thing as 'you must automatically respect the rank' and similar bs conditioning.

So what's then wrong with 'nazi salute' when other saluting is considered ok? Stuff that.

As a former officer I would love to get rid of the salute too. When I got promoted to captain all my lieutenant friends lined the street and commenced to salute me. Of course I had to return the salutes. Until the base commander happened by and stopped his staff car and asked if I would like a ride. I accepted and smiled as all my friends had to salute the pennant on the staff car and I could just sit and relax.
