When my fiancee's Hyundai died, we rented a series of cars from Enterprise. By far, the ones we liked the most were Nissans. But, having owned Nissans in the past, plus looking up their long-term reliability, we ended up with a Toyota. If only the Nissans stayed as they were. I enjoyed a lot of their interior designs, as did she, but they don't seem up to the long haul. But you're right, it's nice to live with a car for a while(and if you can tolerate the off-brand, junky tires they put on them).
