Cuddle companion

A few years ago I had considered getting a cuddling certification (it's a real thing). To start a business where people schedule sessions to just cuddle with me. A type of therapy. Since we are supposed to have human contact, preferably a hug, at least 3 times a day to keep our chemicals balanced, and we are such an adverse society to any touch unless it's cold or sexual, it seemed like something necessary.

Sometimes, I still think about it. Setting up a nice studio with comfy pillows, blankets, different light settings, some aromatherapy, soft relaxing music, etc.

But then I realize that most would expect it to be a sexual encounter and I quit considering it.

It's a shame that just wanting to touch and be touched, hugged or cuddled always ends up sexual. Sometimes, you just need himan contact.

Now don't get angry but you're taking an act of love and compassion or friendship and turning it into a business transaction.

@GeniUs True, but how does that differ from a therapist? You pay a therapist to talk about things you should have friends to express to? It just happens that a therapist has training. So does a professional cuddler.

@FoxyQueen I can see there might be a market but limited, it just seems fraught with problems.
