this probably sounds dumb & y’all are gonna judge me, but when i was 11, i met an online friend who was 12, and we became SO insanely close, so fast.

he ended up taking up such a huge part of my childhood and literally all of my teen years. then he disappeared in 2022, and i haven’t heard a damn thing from him since.

we even did the whole online dating thing (a couple times) 🙄😭 and yeahhh, that ended terribly lol (both times). but we actually met in person twice.. once when i was 14 and again when i was 16. so he was a real person, i was a real person, and that friendship was very real to me.

i’ve looked him up, searched for his friends, searched for his family, EVERYTHING… and i’ve found absolutely nothing. 😭

and for some reason i am missing him SOOOOO bad right now. like how the hell am i sitting here heartbroken over an internet person after all these damn years??? 😭💔

i genuinely hope he’s okay wherever he is. i just wish i could talk to him one more time.

Meeting people online in person seems so depressing to me; it's like having no social skills. I think you should work on that more. Everyone's all should

@mazedona mind your own business

I'll go wherever I want, that's why you're here, anything bothers you. It doesn't matter if I want to get into your bed
Anything you say makes you feel bad for telling yourself the truth. It's incredibly awful to meet up with people online.
There are much safer places to socialize, and countless cases of people who socialize in this way and end up in a grave.

Something like that happened to me

That's not dumb at all. Kids often make fast friends for life right away. It's strange that he would just disappear on you.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
@glossyheart Apparently, he didn't feel the same way. Possibly. It's possible that his disappearance was not his own choice.

@DunningKruger yea & the simple fact that he might’ve not felt the same way… destroys me, hurts so bad. i do take comfort in knowing he didn’t just leave me but left alll of his crew, his entire friend group, it was not just me so that makes me feel a lot better.
still hurts like hell.
thank you for listening to my rant.

@glossyheart I have been there. I've had people just disappear on me when we appeared to be so close. It's hurtful, not knowing. I'd rather have someone storm out and saying that they will never speak to me again and mean it.

maybe you'll find him again you're probably just lonely

I can understand the way you feel right now but certain people want to keep a low profile when it comes to social media and internet.
