What is the legal situation?
glossyheart · 22-25, F
@DunningKruger i took our baby & left him yesterday. he’s abusive & manipulative, and i just needed out.

@glossyheart You need to get a lawyer and get some legal protections in place. If you were married, then that's an issue you need to deal with. You are in a very fragile position and you need to take action quickly to protect yourself.

@DunningKruger we weren’t married

You will soon learn of Father's Parenting Rights and this will be come more uncomfortable unless you two can make an agreement.

Get safe and get a lawyer. And a restraining order, (though they are often worthless)

@glossyheart Good. And in some states it's a requirement that the child has one to look out for the child's interests, too.

@ineedadrink dumb question but does video proof hold up in court ? i have videos of him saying “i don’t give a fuck about that baby” & throwing a pacifier at her

@glossyheart I don't know for sure but I imagine it can be used for some things, such as the restraining order. Propensity for violence right there. I mean, who the hell throws something at any baby but especially his own baby?
