Deaths of my husband and my mom. Both particularly brutal deaths, disease-wise.
In terms of healing, it’s been a kind of two steps forward three steps back type journey. I suspect that will always be the case. You learn to live with the loss but there’s a void within that can never be filled. Life is just never the same.
