Accepting (the end)

What does it take to accept the end? I’m still not totally sure but it feels good to get stuff out. I kinda knew things were not going the way we wanted a few weeks before you walked away. Yes I can be a lot to take and yes I may have had some strange to you demands but they were important to me. Since I wasn’t important to you though, they fell on deaf ears. I still love you but I know we can never be. If I’m honest with myself I shouldn’t want you anymore, since you don’t choose me back. I hope you’re happy with the one you have chosen. So now I look in the mirror and say to myself. Accept what won’t be and move on.
That's what you need to do in order to accept the end of a relationship. It's a form of grief and should be seen as such. Sometimes it is just takes time to heal, and that's unique for everyone. Take care.

@SW-User surround yourself with friends as much as you can.
Sounds painful. But it's better then never getting loved back.
@SW-User I wish you can come out this situation very soon. 🙂

It took me almost five years to accept the end. That's when I realized that, although I may have ended it, she didn't want me anymore.
