Not making light of your situation, I've been there. If someone decides to remove themselves from your life with no apparent reason then they don't warrant the energy and emotion involved in mourning the loss.
Besides, there is nothing wrong with a little redirected affection benefiting a little furry creature, and they really do help.😊

Same here.. but your was 3 days later than. Mine... Man I'm lost as I never been.. I had 3 relationships before. A 9 year one. And 2 couple year relationships as well, this one was 3 years, but by far the best girl ever.. it hurts as if there's no tomorrow.. plus she didn't even break up, she left and ghosted me, that's why hurts so much, been almost a month and I can't get closure cause I don't know nothing
