I Have a Broken Heart

My boyfriend broke my heart twice. We're in a long distance relationship and he was asking me to move to the US. I didn't answer him but I changed the topic because he said it was the same reason shy he broke up with me the first time. He got mad and the next day he deleted his email :( I got very depressed and I wasn't able to work or even go out for two months. It was last April but it feels just like yesterday :( I have social anxiety and have a hard time dealing with people. He was my first boyfriend.

sweetie - I am sorry for your pain.

give yourself some time to mourn it - but when you think about it - were you EVER interested in leaving your country?

if not then he was not a bf - just a fantasy

I'm willing to move but I was just worried that I might not be able to get a job. I have problems with my school record, it's a long story but I'm not a criminal.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be tough to move to the US at any rate -problems with school? shouldn't be an issue

I'm sure there are tons of guys locally that you can meet as well.

Are you sure that the LDR wasn't to protect yourself against getting hurt?

Sorry to hear that.

If he really wanted to be with you, he would move to your country if he knew you couldn't move to his. We can't help feeling things but when we think about them in a non biased or emotional way we can start building the bases the overcome things like depression, and in this case he clearly didn't love you as much as you loved him, or maybe didn't even love you at all. I don't know how his life is at the moment, but if he could leave this way, I imagine his life is better than yours. Do not let him come in your life and then leave and make you feel miserable. He's not worth it.

Sounds like you learned a life-lesson.. As hard as it was to go through it.. Next time, you will know that when a lover makes a request of you, that you need to be honest in your response and not dodge the issue..
I'm sorry to hear that you made such a big mistake, but I side with your BF.
