I was engaged to a guy that I dated throughout our undergrad years. We graduated, he asked me to marry him that August before we headed to different grad programs at different schools, and he was cheating within less than two months of popping the question.

It is coming up on four year since he asked me to marry him. I still hurt.

People tell me that I dodged a bullet. I feel like the bullet my hit heart my heart and shattered it, I still struggle. I hurt for you and anyone else that experiences this. 🤗

@eMortal Yes, he said “ Out of sight, out of mind!” We had spent Columbus Day weekend together and we had a beautiful weekend. He wrote and left me two notes telling me that he couldn’t wait to share the rest of his life with me. He was in bed with her two nights later.
