Would you name your child after your first love?

I've always wondered how people separate memory from meaning. Some names stay with us long after the person is gone, not because we still love them, but because they once meant something important. So if you truly loved someone once, and the relationship is already part of the past, would giving that name to your child feeling sentimental, strange, or completely wrong?

Well, my first love was a woman with a very feminine name, my first child is now a man and I don't think he would have thanked me for giving him that name.

Reminds me of that old Johnny Cash song, A Boy Named Sue:
My daddy left home when I was three
And he didn't leave much to ma and me
Just this old guitar and an empty bottle of booze.
Now, I don't blame him cause he run and hid
But the meanest thing that he ever did
Was before he left, he went and named me "Sue".
No, my first love's name wasn't Sue.
