Would you name your child after your first love?

I've always wondered how people separate memory from meaning. Some names stay with us long after the person is gone, not because we still love them, but because they once meant something important. So if you truly loved someone once, and the relationship is already part of the past, would giving that name to your child feeling sentimental, strange, or completely wrong?

If I had a child, absolutely no. That would be weird and inappropriate. I would avoid any name I associate with a romantic partner, a crush, infatuation or anybody that truly shook my world in a passionate way. I'd pick a name that sounds good to me and I have some positive associations with it but more like: "I knew someone with this name and they left a good impression on me".
