I invited Adelina out to spend the weekend with us

Her birthday is on Monday so I invited her for us to do a little birthday celebration for her. She declined at first, but seemed more open when I brought up Lucas. She said she misses him and would love to see him again. She said maybe we could do something on Sunday. She has to go back to work Monday, so I was hoping we could celebrate it for her a day sooner. She also mentioned making an altar for our dog Ulysses for Day of the Dead. At the very least, I’ll help her with that at her place. And bring Lucas, of course, so she can see him. No matter what, I’ll make sure to be with her so we can do something special together, and that she can see Lucas. 💖
