Yes :) .... not in an absolute sense, but in degrees.
With someone else's art you are usually unaware of the artist's self doubts and compromises, or mistakes that were painted over, or maybe the need for $$ ... and the need to get it sold trumped their need to achieve perfection.
But you do know all that stuff about your own art :)
