Isn't first degree burns really bad like, see muscle bad? Go to A&E
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
@Longpatrol 1st degree is red with no major blisters. It hurts, but holding it in cold water for a few minutes is usually enough. 3rd degree is what you’re thinking of.

@Longpatrol Nah that’s third degree. Redness with pain and no swelling…that’s first degree. It’s very minor.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@EBSVC ah! Ok, glad to hear it isn't as serious as I thought.
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
Use a dry pot holder next time…the heat from the pan instantly boiled the water in the pot holder burning your hand.
Hope you heal up quick!

A wet pot holder right there is your first mistake wtf bud
EBSVC · 41-45, T
@DrawntoaDistance Literally my first non-seasoned pan

The wet potholder did it to you? That's a no-no. Instant heat transfer. No insulation at all.
