He has money?
SilentObZerver · 26-30, M
@hunkalove so a man is at liberty to cheat and be forgiven by his woman if he has money
Is that your point?

@GoFish so basically women stay for the financial security.....
GoFish ·
@SilentObZerver in some cases yes
@SilentObZerver Financial security is only one of the reasons why women stay in greater numbers than men do and let's not forget that women are more likely to be the ones to sacrifice their careers to raise the children. It's also the case that women are more likely to have a deeper emotional investment in the marriage and are more likely to stay because of the kids than men are.

GoFish ·
sometimes people stay for financial reasons or because they still love the person despite their behavior
AdmiralPrune · 46-50, M
I’m unconvinced that’s a steady average.

SilentObZerver · 26-30, M
@Northwest i prefer the opposite though
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
IF that is true, I suspect it's because in our society the female is more often dependent on the male for income than vice versa.
SilentObZerver · 26-30, M
@ChipmunkErnie that means women are likely to stay provided the money assures her of financial security
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@SilentObZerver Yes, more or less. Particularly is children are involved.

Because some of us make the mistake of thinking that we can either change him. Or that it was somehow our fault.
