If a woman says she loves you (in romantic intimate way) do you intrinsically trust her to be genuine?

It'll take me a long time perhaps forever to be able to automatically believe and trust a woman who says that she loves me, or some universe altering temporal shift in the fundamental attitude of most single mature women to accepting men for who and what they are.

I know this is based on my own experiences so everyone else will have a different take.
