Not at all. When I was younger I was rather frumpy and unattractive, and boys weren't interested in me (apart from a few who just wanted sex)
But on two occasions since then, men have confessed to me that they had a crush on me all those years ago, but didn't have the courage to do anything about it.

@SchoolBelle that's a very good question! I would have to say no, because I had a crush on another lad so I wasn't really interested in those boys who had a crush on me. If I'd known how they felt, it wouldn't have made any difference.

@JayneX And therein lies the quandary - only after she left school (parents moved away) did I discover that she would have returned my interest in her that I foolishly kept to myself - I was very interested in her - oh well - that taught me a lesson.
