Have you ever fell in love with a sandwich?

There used to be a place in Moline, Illinois called The Italian Village (I think). They served a reuben that was to die for. It was on wheat bread rather than rye, and it was the size of a dinner plate — you were basically getting four sandwiches.

Then there was the Vegetarian sub at Sub Shop here in Columbia — a classic, my go-to for the better part of 40 years, and then they went and closed the place down. I may never recover.
