I met my wife when I was 15 and she was 14, almost 15. One of my football teammates brought her to our church youth group, and her smile captured my heart. She turned me down when I asked for a date, with a fairly good excuse, so I gave up. A few weeks later, she asked me for a date, and we were married almost eight years later.
