Is there a future with her?

I’m a 27 years old educator who just finished my first year of teaching. During my first year, I met a very beautiful, amazing, and gorgeous co-worker. She and I developed this friendship that leads to a romantic relationship. The problem is that she is married with three kids. We had been seeing each other for over six months now. She loves me and I love her. I truly believe that we are meant for each other. She wants to divorce her husband so we can build a life together.

Seriously though, think about what this future is going to actually look like if you both follow through. She has three kids, and those kids are going to have thoughts and feelings about their parents splitting. As someone who went through this as a kid many moons ago, you could find yourself as public enemy #1 with one, two, or all three of her kids. Plus, she’s going to be on a roller coaster throughout. Right now, you’re in the fantasy stage where love cures all and fixes everything. The reality of a divorce (especially one involving children) is much different.
