For those who are having a difficult day with their Moms and for Moms who are having a difficult day with their kids:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs". 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 in

Love is not proud. It doesn't become angry when it is neglected. It keeps no record of the wrongs done to it.

Those are things I have to remember today and every Mother's day.

Love is patient. I might have to wait till the end of my days...but I will still love.

I know some people are justified in their anger or pain from a bad relationship with their mothers. Imagine spending your entire life without a mother . Not even memories of her .

@kodiac I try not to think of my own mother, because I did love her when she was alive, but it was a very painful, manipulated sort of love. Those who never had a mother always wish for one, never realizing that you have to be very careful what you wish for.

Knowing how your life went, I DO wish you had a mother, because even someone unsuitable would have protected you to some degree.
