How many of you have every found love here? And how did that go?

I never have but I'm not opposed to making friends here and eventually meeting if the person is local to me.

I mean it's what I used to do on AOL chat rooms back in the day. And it was never unsafe. Met my ex GF on a BBS in 1996 before I was even using AOL. That ended after 4 years though, my fault 😔

I dated someone from EP that brought me here. I had to break up because I was in the middle of a nasty divorce and she had yet to divorce.

Regardless, she was a beautiful person inside and out - one of the more wonderful people I’ve met in my life.

I’d always suggest going for it. Life is short.

I’m here mostly to sift through interesting thoughts and ideas. Maybe offer my 2 cents (or Pennies) when compelled to. If in that process I make a friend I’m open to it. I think finding love is a stretch for me personally online - I’ve heard of successful love stories originate online and hope the very best for them.

I steer clear of relationships that are purely or mostly online. Had a bad experience early on in 97 after the divorce when the internet was new. Lady i was talking to was still married but didn’t tell me. Frankly, my experiences with people have been so bad I think it would be best to stay away from everyone.

I’ve never sought romantic love here, but I do believe I’ve found friendships, some lasting over a decade now.

I’ve found one or two good friends who I really care for, anything more than that will always end in pain, been there before.

My wife and I started talking on EP over eleven years ago and got married last year.

Never found love here, however, I did have one woman whom we exchanged kinky chat for about 6 months.

Love as in some long lasting friendships yes 😊.
