Craving love

Have U ever felt an overwhelming need for love to the point where U get depressed? I felt down the other day cause I'm actually alone and have been for a good while.
I keep seeing couples, even my ex is on his second person and it's like time stood still for me. His new girl plays chess, does racing etc.
I'm just here feeling like I wasted a great number of years when I could've been improving myself more and it's even worse seeing all these couples around.
