Good question. What I felt for Lynn when we started dating at 15 was infatuation. I have no idea when it changed to real love, but one day when we were in college, probably 18 or 19, I realized that I loved her so much that all I wanted to do was make her happy. That meant that I had to let her date others when we were apart. I hated it, but I knew it was what she needed. I can't explain the feeling.
