What is LOVE

Not sure I ever had it. So want your version of what it is. I was raised in a household where that was not said or shown. My so called father hit my mother everyday and I think that's why I attract the worst kind of men. I have changed everything I do with being with men but no matter what the worst one's are drawn to me. Just would love to know what it is to be truly loved . I am a most 60

That's a complicated question... each of us has a slightly different answer, and in those differences is where we get hung up.

In any case, with a broad brush stroke, I'd say love to me is feeling like there is nothing I would not do for my mate/partner. Putting them first, but also, in knowing for them, I come first.

I have their back... always, and at the same time, they have mine.

When they are down, I'm there to lift them up, and they are there in the same manner for me.

I am the wind beneath their wings, they mine.
