Would you as a straight person date a trans man/woman?

Especially interested in the answers of people who consider trans women/men to be genuine members of that gender.

As someone who identifies as bi. I am unsure if I would a trans person it really depends on how serious they are with their transition and if they can actually pass as that gender.
Hair dye and a dress is sometimes not enough because I dye my hair and may occasionally wear make-up and a dress and still see myself as male in drag if that.
