So this is love

When I think of him, I just think of how can I please him. What can I do today to make him proud to call me his. Haha. It's so gross... I know. And I've never felt this way in a relationship before. He makes me want to be better.

Typically in relationships I am always wondering how I can improve the other person's life. I tend to be the motivator and the caretaker. But with him, I know that he already knows how to take care of himself... for the most part. I mean, everyone needs emotional comfort and support at times, but that's not what Im taking about. What I mean is, he is a fully realized person. I don't have to help him figure out who he is, or what motivates him. He is dynamic, intelligent, witty, daring... and I just love him so much.

Of course he has his flaws, but I like those too. I tend to go for headstrong men. Whenever we have a disagreement it seems to bring us closer. Sometimes, if it's something little, i will just let it go because it's not important in our overall happiness... I would never do that in the past. Maybe im a little older and wiser. Maybe it has nothing to do with my age at all. Maybe some people can just bring out a version of your ideal self without even trying. I don't know...

I'm so thankful for him though. Whether we last or don't, this relationship has been so meaningful to me.
