In my opinion: it's not what I believe, it's all about my feeling (not emotional feelings like love). Maybe the feeling of butterflies in my stomach or the person turning me on as we engage in a conversation.
I am not sure about Love, though. For me, love isn't handed out right off the bat; it's just like trust and respect; you have to earn it.
In my experience, I have experienced neither love nor lust when I first see someone. My thoughts would be like, "Oh hey, a person. Cool."
But when I see an attractive person (in my opinion, everyone's attractive in their own way, minus the people who have an ugly personality or act ugly), I'll look at them and my mind goes, "Goodness, I wonder if their personality is just as attractive as they are." Then I look away from them, "My ugly ass doesn't deserve to look nor think about an attractive (and all other synonyms) person. Don't embarrass yourself by looking at them; you're a zero and they're a 10." I tell myself that because I'm not worthy of an attractive person's love, whether their personality is the same as their attractiveness.
