Lust is easy, it comes and goes, it keeps people at arms length, and is never taken seriously. It so gets old pretty quick. Love takes time and needs vulnerability and not everyone is ready for that.

Isn't that how it should be? Serious question. I'm not minimizing how hard it is, but shouldn't love be more difficult to find than lust?

All most people want anymore is lust. Love doesn't even enter into the equation, regardless of what they claim. I have no use for either of those things from anyone anymore, therefore it is no longer an issue for me. Good luck to you if that is something you still want and need. Hope you find a genuine, honest, person.
