Not true. Sometimes they cheat you and you don't even know while enjoying the freedom.

@seabirds i don't have any one to love me. So no worries.

I have seen deep love between two partners despite no common interest. Acceptance and understanding each other is very bonding qualities.

You are right ........
Even so sharing some few but foundational values is IMO part of being compatible.
It's the mutual part that seems to cause most issues in any relationship.
I used to think this.. but now i feel like i missed the magic.

A question of accepting and compromising

Love is an illusion. It does not exist.
seabirds · 36-40, F
@ATripToNowhere love is not accepting and adopting others behaviors so seriously..it's just a bond we established with someone if our mind triggered but the real quest begins after it ..if you want to keep going with all subtle hardships for this bond that's I think love

Mmhm. Mature love.

The most rational thing I've seen says that love works best when you have shared life goals. You can do hobbies together or apart, and personal preferences can be worked around in a lot of ways. So long as you can move together in the same general life direction, you'll be good to go. However, when you work towards opposing goals is when the resentment and feelings of being held back to start to arise.

My wife and I have similar likes and dislikes — can’t imagine if that wasn’t the case.
