Maybe it's just the case that you were too unwell to be loved by just anyone, it would have taken someone particularly attuned to your needs. Mentally ill people can find love, it just too often happens that they/we meet other people with similar issues and the result is a car crash. What unstable needs is stability and a shit load of patience.
