Why are some people afraid of love?

I mean if that person really really likes you, and you may like that person back, go for it. If you don’t let someone in your heart, you might miss out on a great person!! You gotta trust someone sometimes. I mean you can’t trust everyone. Stop being afraid of love. Get out of your comfort zone for crying out loud!
You gotta be uncomfortable sometimes.

It may be easier said than done for many.
It takes a lot out of a person when it comes to trying again after things not working. It's not just about love, but putting yourself out there and showing who you really are and how you really are.
